It's been like that since last night. We can't refresh our feed, we can't post, we can't even on see what grounds they flagged the post on... let alone appeal this baffling decision.

I totally understand if this is too much work for you, but I think it would be really awesome if you talked with other museums and institutions who might risk the same fate, or always have to think hard about what to post and self censor, about setting up a communal @pixelfed server that you all can use, and share the burden of maintaining. Would be really interesting!
@vagina_museum You just have to do what all the "models" do and put a mesh/see through material over the image because IG is moderated in the dumbest way possible.
@vagina_museum many years ago I posted a pic in my knickers but you could see some of my pubic hair. They removed it as sexual content. I retook the picture making sure there was not a glimpse of fanny hair and that image was never censored
