Nastybutler, I have Apple TV+ and never heard of this show. Not much promotion on their splash page
PP_BOY_, First time I’ve ever heard of it but with that hideous art style, it’s shocking to see it lasted even three seasons. Actually, wait no, with that art style, it’s shocking to see it didn’t get 9 seasons and two Christmas specials.
Son_of_dad, It’s from the creators of Bob’s burgers, or producers or something, so it tried to keep that low grade animation style. Good animation doesn’t make good comedy anyways. There’s another one called the great North, same style. I love Bob’s burgers, I’ve just never been interested enough to check the other ones out
A_Toasty_Strudel, The Great North is sorta ok I guess. It’s definitely no Bob’s Burgers.
Son_of_dad, I see those shows as like the American Dad or Cleveland show of Bob’s burgers
danhakimi, naw, American Dad is actually good.
danhakimi, IIRC, it's from the animators of Bob's Burgers, but not the same writers? I could be wrong.
But yeah, I think the Animation style is really particularly suited to Bob's Burgers, and copying and pasting the same style into other shows feels really disappointing.
But Central Park is good-ish.
And the Great North is also a show, I guess.
Ashyr, I’m sad but not surprised.
Knocking Kristen Bell out for a season really dumped the wind from its sails.
I get why they did it, but it was not the same afterwards.
Bringing her back for season 3 helped a little, but it was very uneven.
FlexibleToast, They didn’t “knock” her out. She stepped aside. She didn’t think it was right for her to voice a young, black girl.
Ashyr, I didn’t mean to imply that the powers that be removed her, just that she wasn’t in the second season.
I think it’s a perfectly valid reason to step away from a show, I just missed her particular performance.
FlexibleToast, I honestly didn’t miss it at all. It was nice that she came back, but I didn’t feel like anything was missing in season 2.
ripcord, How did you not mean to imply it when you implied it 3 different times
