Made the mistake of visiting another social and gotta say - their #comics community is much livelier than ours has been lately.. we need to up our game!
So here's a challenge - post one for your favorite #Batman covers. Here's my all time fave.. I owned it as a kid and it gave me the jeebies!
...also taught me that #comicbook covers can and often do lie! 😂
@multiverseofbadness I remember this story well: "Interlude on Earth-Two", in The Brave & the Bold #182, published 1982. I was always a sucker for stories crossing into alternate Earths, and we rarely saw Batman meeting himself in the JLA/JSA crossovers. This story was particularly fascinating, as the Earth-One Batman was so disturbing to the grown-up Robin, as his own Batman had by then died.
This seems like a special moment... @pluralistic and Warren Mosler in a fun rambly episode about..uh... some #MMT, and fiction and reality? Examine the tension of how we use money with political and cultural dishonesty?
Hard to pin down, but I really recommend listening.

[Oh was that what that was about? I just heard "Laura" and typed it in, and picked the song w Laura in the title. (But it was tricky b/c 2 artists, neither of whom I knew, had done the song.) I didn't listen to the words. But yeah, teen death ballads was kind of a thing, wasn't it? I bet someone's written a thesis studying/ explaining that. If not, they should.]
