T**** tried to claim "25,000 people" attended his rally in the .

The evening news reported only about 3,500 attended ("HowManyPeopleInPicture" reports roughly 1,000 in the attached photo. Another 1,000 were reportedly in line. Not sure where the rest are.)

One of T****'s dead-enders tried to claim the aerial photo was from "7 hours before the event when it was pointed out that can be seen "right there center stage speaking."🤦‍♂️

I think #AI is at the stage where electricity was in the late 1800s. Tons of incompatible standards run by unregulated companies, people electrocuting themselves at their homes, and promises of electricity as the ultimate cure-all.

It has tremendous potential for the future but it absolutely has to be strongly regulated, and the worst excesses curbed.

Starting to get sick of this stuff, Brave. I should not be trying to figure how to turn this off, because it should never have turned on without asking me first.

2014: you meticulously craft a Twitter search to find that one popular tweet which supports your point of view.

2024: you meticulously craft an AI prompt to get the model to hallucinate a block of text which supports your point of view.

A few years ago I adopted a complete 15th edition from 1988. I only had to pay for shipping costs. It more and more feels like a good decision.

From @gruber on Google adding AI GIGO (garbage in, garbage out) to their search results:

"They’ve turned Google Search — the crown jewel of the company, arguably the greatest consumer product ever made — into the butt of jokes."

If facts and hard data are required, folding in AI is like a truth diluting virus. Once the AI learns about adding glue to pizza, there's no simple way to exorcise that "fact".
