Long story short, don't trust AI with your dog.

Holy sheep snot! That chart! This actually pisses me off and isn’t funny stupidity because you know some dumbass will think it’s accurate.

Folks, please DON’T leave your dog in a car on a day over 70F.

Thanks for sharing. We need to recognize how truly bad is now.

C’mon, we’ve all been using LLMs on a daily basis for more than year now. You’d think people would slowly start to get the idea. But no.

Why is everyone still using an LLM and looking for accurate answers? They are obviously not built for that.

You use an LLM to get yourself off your writer’s block, to get a few ideas how to move on, not for it to solve the end equation for you. Duh!

The hilarious thing about Microsoft going all in on AI with and , they threw Intel and AMD under the bus. The whole last year of "AI PCs" won't get features like Recall.
The consumer reaction to Recall has been overwhelmingly negative, but all these companies are afraid of shareholders and investors wanting more AI hype to make stock prices look good.
But and have all these chips made that are falling in price fast.
You can find some CRAZY deals on computers right now that WONT run Recall, but are over-kill powerful for home systems.

https://somegadgetguy.com/b/45e

Mini PC's used to sell chips that were two or three years old. This Geekom is using AMD's current laptop chip, with 32GB of RAM, and 2TB of storage for $899!

It's a REAL good time to shop a NON Recall compatible PC.

Had a chat with various MOLE* chat demos over the last few weeks. I'll be more impressed when they can run on our personal devices with no dependence on remote servers ("the cloud"). But as far as most people are concerned, we now live in the world with talking computers that can understand human speech and follow our instructions. Like in 90s Star Trek or before that, Star Wars and Blakes 7.

Google is taking “swift action” to remove some of the bizarre AI-generated answers appearing at the top of its search pages. “A company once known for being at the cutting edge and shipping high-quality stuff is now known for low-quality output that’s getting meme’d,” one AI founder, who wished to remain anonymous, said. Excellent piece in #NoemaMagazine by Professor @ShannonVallor of #UniEdinburgh on the moral and experiential poverty of #AI - and what it means for us if we reduce the meaning of "human" to "producer of economic value".

A nuanced, thought-provoking and beautiful piece that argues for us to restore humanity to discussions of AI.

It provides ways to cut through the current hype cycle of #AGI and "super-human" AI, and leaves us with the fundamental question - "what does it mean to be human?".

I read it while brunching on scrambled eggs, buttered toast and hot coffee while outside on the patio, enjoying the late autumn sunshine - and I thoroughly recommend you do the same.
