#CowParsnip is the ONLY #Heracleum species that's native to #NorthAmerica. There's many look-a-likes including the very toxic giant hogweed. I don't recommend trying to #forage & harvest them unless you're very experienced with identifying differences because it's dangerous to do so.
Something about #ferns & raindrops falling on still #waters, that instantly brings calming, #peaceful energies to my soul. #Nature provides many free to access & free to absorb, #HealingPowers 🙏💗
Spent some time hanging out with some blue #damselflies at the lake before coming back home 😊
Damselflies have existed since the Late #Jurassic period & found on every continent except Antarctica. Presence of damselflies & the larger dragonflies, indicates a healthy #ecosystem.
Enjoyed our game of #cascadia last night. It's a fairly simple game to learn, but can get complex when considering all scoring variables. It also helps that I won twice in a row now 😂 #boardgames

🚨 Action alert! 🚨 #HighSpeedRail is still a long ways away, & we need more ambitious #rail improvements in the meantime. Unfortunately, the goals set out in the latest #AmtrakCascades long term plan are moving backward not forward.

"It was 30 years ago today (no joke!) that WSDOT and Amtrak started a single daily train between Seattle and Portland. It was the start of the Amtrak Cascades legacy. Thank you for riding with us!"
