Got a chance to work a fifth granny square. I picked up this cotton yarn remnant stash at a garage sale seemingly a lifetime ago - one-off balls in a whole bunch of rainbow-friendly colors perfect for Pride Month and Earth Day and other opportunities to have color joy.
I was all cosy in my armchair, happily hooking away and then Some Events Occurred. Looks like I’m an Open Air Hooker for the rest of the day. Could be worse, I do love Mt Lofty Botanics during the autumn. #Crochet#MountLofty
Good morning, everyone! Worked on the Chimera colourway yesterday, and then I’ll do another Gnome one after this. I’m making two blankets simultaneously, because that’s how it kinda worked out 🤣 My partner is pleased though, because he likes the idea of us having matching blankets. Here’s where we’re starting at for today! Please forgive the action shot—I’m all cosy under my blanket and can’t be bothered getting up 😅 @crochet#crochet#FiberArt
Good morning! I finished the test square last night, with practically no curling! Success, indeed! I’m trying to convince myself to be happy with this and just use these hooks, but I’m convinced that I might be able to get away with a 2.75mm start rather than the 3mm I did here. Maybe. Haven’t blocked it yet, mind you. @crochet#crochet#FiberArt
A terrific "deadstock" yarn and notions resource... High end fashion industry overage, mostly from Italy. Some gorgeous options here, and fun buttons too!!
NEW! To me, anyway... from the FutureFiber channel on #YouTube. Soooo funny! And clever. Are you in the chicken nugget at 3am quadrant of summer? Find out here!... "An unhinged summer knitting review."
Morning everyone! I have absolutely no self control, so I’ve put aside my autumn colourway from yesterday. Instead, I’m working on a test for the same pattern but with Lion Brand’s Mandala. I only have Gnome on hand for now, but I plan to make this up using Chimera. It’s curling just a little, and I can’t quite remember from when I was doing the Sophie’s Universe CAL if that’s normal at this point. Nevertheless, we shall persevere! @crochet#crochet#FiberArts
I've finished the cardigan, I think if I make this again, I won't make it as long at the top of the back/collar area and just go back and forth to still get the length in at the bottom edge.
I found that the edges curl up a fair bit, so I have crocheted the cuffs and round the outside. It's worked well but I think next time I will give it a knit ribbed edge rather than crocheted

It’s all over the internet, it’s incoherent misogyny! I dyed a new batch, and there are many other powerful pinks and purples in stock.

Delighted to see my friend Melissa's Sculpted Waves Blanket #Crochet pattern is trending on Ravelry. (She's the one that gets all my money for her glorious hand dyed yarns)
