On Sunday 28th I'm doing the 22.7 mile Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise money for An Lòchran Gaelic arts & cultural centre in Partick, a centre which over the last year has transformed my ability to use Scotland's oldest language, Gaelic. "An Lòchran" means "the lantern", & the centre is a shining beacon for all of those interested in learning Scottish Gaelic in Scotland's largest city. If you'd like to support my effort, please visit https://www.justgiving.com/page/chris-paton-stewarton - mòran taing/many thanks! #Gaelic#Gàidhlig
“A MAN from Stirling has achieved a remarkable milestone by completing the 2024 Boston Marathon and raising more than £4500 for the Gaelic Books Council.”
The National: Niteworks have announced a new and final single to commemorate their last year together as a band with further tour dates in Inverness’s Eden Court and London’s The Garage also shared.
The new single, [An Toll Dubh]… is a cover of the song originally written and performed by Runrig’s Calum and Rory Macdonald.
