Tampoco permite #YouTubeMusic vincular la fuente RSS para que exista la misma experiencia ahí que en #Spotify. Debería, pero su email de verificación nunca llega.

Yes, it is inconvenient to move. And yes, you will lose your playback history. But, as per @alecm's blog post:

And, if we may add, there ought to be a way to export your full playback history.
"We’re writing to remind you that after April 2, 2024, you will no longer be able to listen to podcasts in Google Podcasts."
Yet another Google product headed to the burn pile. It's OK though because there are "export options" until 7/29/24. Read: export to YouTube Music so we can raise the subscription price for everyone - even those who don't listen to podcasts.

So, google is closing down everything, well just it's podcast app like everything else they have ended ... bastards
Google podcast has no export function so I have to move all my podcasts to another app ... painful ... to spread the pain out, and make me dislike google more, a couple times a day when I get new podcasts in the Google app, I have to search for the podcast in my new app ... and yes the new app has export function ... technology shouldn't be this painful

You can export all of your #podcasts with Google Takeout so you can move them to your new app.
At least they have that feature, even if you have go to Takeout and can't do it directly from the #googlepodcasts app so it's not the most user friendly.
@melissabeartrix Supposedly they're going to implement an export functionality. Whether it will export to a file or only directly to YTMusic remains to be seen.
On a separate note, what app are you moving to? I'm having a hard time finding one that supports playback in the browser. I don't really want to use my phone when I'm sitting at a computer.
I got into listening to podcasts when @Ashens was part of the #sequelisers. I used Stitcher, which was then sundowned. Tried other apps and left it for a while, until I got long commutes again and used something on am iPhone to listen to one of the many podcasts from @film_girl.
Then went back to Android using #GooglePodcasts, which has been recently announced to be on its way out.

I really liked #GooglePodcasts. Any recommendations on a replacement?
I use offline listening a lot and would like to tag/bookmark/star episodes I like (actually not available in the Google app).
I don’t get people mourning the loss of #googlepodcasts It was a terrible app they abandoned a long time ago. YouTube Podcasts ain’t a great solution/replacement but there’s plenty of much better podcasts apps out there.
Since #GooglePodcasts is getting sent to the #googlegraveyard soon, I'm going to switch to #Podbean because I'm willing to bet that their podcasts won't be exempt from the "subscribe to enable background play" nonsense and I'm on a warpath about subscriptions already this year, I won't be adding another.
