Ich versuchs mal mit Mastodon. Bin eine ganz normale nerd:in mit Hang zu Sarkasmus. Politisch eher links (also normal). Kann mich gut entspannen, wenn ich mich um meine kleinen IT-Projekte kümmern kann oder ne gute Serie gefunden habe. Und ohne Kaffee geht nix.

I'm new in #mastodon and seeing if this is my kind of thing. Seems like you have to either follow a lot of people or tags before you can find anything or "reside" in an instance which has already a lot of connections to your liking.

I just decided to join here so to have somewhere in the #fediverse completely dedicated to my drawing and designs. As stated in my bio, I draw a lot: as a hobby, as a job, and as a researcher. I mostly draw traditionally (pen, ink, watercolour), sometimes digitally (especially #GraphicDesign).
I do a lot of #UrbanSketching and #DrawingEthnography, but when I have time (which is very rare) I love to draw some original characters like the one in this picture, who is a character from a little story I wrote long time ago and that recently I was thinking of turning into a #comic. But it's more of a thought than an actual project, as my research doesn't allow for enough free time for personal projects.
The image above has also being part of my ever first post in the #fedi last year, when I initially joined mastodon.art
I'll be doing an awful lot of ethnographic sketching this year, so I guess that would be most of my content after the initial posts to welcome the new season.

Look I've never been and will never be a #Programmer but I've been a user since the late 70's when my scout leader took us to his office in the Pentagon and showed us a green screen and typed a message to a friend in Hawaii. Nothing special but this was #ARPANET in 1978! So HelloWorld hits me in a very personal way.
Now if only the damn package I need actually worked!!
