User Experience idea: have ZSA and JetBrains work together. When customizing my Moonlander Layout, I want to assign the icons in PhpStorm to my keymaps. e.g. the stop listening to Debug connection would be assigninable to a Moonlander key.
Switching back-and-forth between #CLion and #PhpStorm for the same project (so I can use intellisense and syntax highlighting on .php and .phpt files) is a pain in the ass, and for some reason, it corrupts the .idea folder, so I have to keep deleting it and letting the IDEs recreate it. #JetBrains
Can anyone recommend me a good #XLIFF#editor for #macOS? I'm just having a hard time importing the #Klaro default labels from 23 #languages for my EXT:klaro_consent_manager in #crowdin. Error is missing "source" tags. #ChatGPT makes too many errors merging "source" and "target".
But I frankly wonder why I bother trying to improve the semantics of #PHP when it seems people don't give a fuck and just want crap not actually implemented in any sensible way, just so they can feel like they are working with a "real" programming.
It honestly tilts me that people want to make the language more inconsistent and shit just for some minor DX that one could achieve by building tooling in PHP.
@Girgias@Crell I mean, would I prefer runtime checked generics? Yes. Would I want to pay the performance price? No. Would I accept runtime-erased generics as a compromise? Yeah.
Honestly, if there was support for that in #PhpStorm, I don't care whether it's part of language, or as attributes (I hate using phpdoc for that, though) via some 3rd party library. Consistent IDE support (and static analysis) is way more important to me.
Did #PhpStorm recently change the way it connects to #Xdebug when executing tests from PhpStorm? I’m no longer able to get the debugger panel to work for a project that I’ve never had a problem using Xdebug in.
