@DavidRHel only using it for a few hours.... i need more time to get a feeling for this look and feel. as far as I have seen, you can use extensions, which is a must for me. but the very first thing I noticed, which is completely nonsense: hide/show sidebar with hotkey: CTRL+S . in every app on this planet, this hotkey stands for "save", but they thought, it would be a crazy good idea, to use that hotkey for something else..... till now, I don´t know how to change it. it´s not a deal braker, but still, stupid in my eyes to choose such known hotkeys for different stuff. i hope they will offer something to change that. it´s still beta.... so we'll see.....

@DavidRHel i'll try to remember that ;) i am using @Vivaldi since a very long time now, and this is by far the best browser I ever had. so switching to arc is highly unlikely ;) but still, I am interested and keep my eyes open. but again: vivaldi is amazing 😻 😊

“Browser choices. A tale of two Gatekeepers.”

Big Tech companies must comply with the EU’s Digital Market’s Act in early March by offering Browser Choice Screens. Vivaldi is thrilled to see Big Tech’s iron grip on the default browser setting loosened. However, the proposed Choice Screens will not be effective unless browsers get the chance to tell users about their advantages.

Introducing Glow: Beautiful, pixel-perfect blocks

Glow is different: Instead of attempting to understand language internals, Glow focuses solely on aesthetics — and how your code looks.

https://nuejs.org/blog/introducing-glow/

Glow is simple: Glow makes all languages work with your brand colors by adjusting just a handful of variables.

Glow is orders of magnitude smaller than the mainstream alternatives. We're talking 5K instead of 5M. It's by far the smallest implementation available.

Copy/paste is a common technical debt on a lot of projects. The jscpd gives the ability to find duplicated blocks implemented on more than 150 programming languages and digital formats of documents. The jscpd tool implements Rabin-Karp algorithm for searching duplications.

what's the difference between a and a developer when the job is: to get all combinations of a parent-child construct?

laravel: builds 5 methods, takes 5 minutes
PHP: writes "one" SQL select that takes 1 second

and that's the main problem these days with these "fancy" frameworks 🙄
many of these "developers" don´t even start thinking out of the box and
only stick with the tiny world, the framework offers. 😔
