Double dipped on this one as I had originally platted the PS4 version (don't believe there was a PS5 version on release?) but saw it got added to PSPlus and with the release of the dlc... had to be done
Plus it's another excuse for some sibling gaming time with my brother 😊
Great arcade fun and a must play for fans of the turtles and beat 'em ups in general
Since the VLC just runs through the music folder on my Windows 7 machine in alphabetical order, sometimes I'll end up hearing something I haven't heard in a while and I stick on it, which is cool.
Apparently today is the day I run through everything instrumental I have on here by Trent Reznor (and Atticus Ross). That's Ghosts I-VI and the MANY soundtracks he's done (Before the Flood, Bird Box, Gone Girl, Quake, Patriot's Day, Mank, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Social Network, Empire of Light, Mutant Mayhem, Watchmen).
With this, I'm now only missing one of the big five #Konami#SegaGenesis releases: Castlevania Bloodlines.
Got this for a very decent price, and is in pretty great shape—with the caveat of not coming with a manual, which is part of why I got it at the price I did.
I finally saw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, with my eldest daughter. It feels like a labour of love. The animation rocked, continuing the current big screen cartoon renaissance. The soundtrack was also great (for us oldies). My big takeaway though: The TMNTs are 15 years old - BORN IN 2008. IN 2 0 0 8. #TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles#TMNT#MutantMayhem #Cowabunga#movie#animation#cartoon#cartoons#HeroesInAHalfShell
Despite being a big TMNT fan like I mentioned the other day, I haven't seen Mutant Mayhem and probably won't til later. But I did NOT know the soundtrack was done by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross! Been playing it today -- it has some BANGERS:
I watched some of the #TMNT Team Up (think #TeenTitansGo or #ThundercatsRoar) shorts last night and I howled, cackled and guffawed with laughter. So silly and definitely made with adults in mind. Shame they only made 6 2-3 min episodes because I haven't laughed that heartily for a long time.
I've been a big fan of TMNT since I was a kid (my first figure was the original Raphael, from 1988, when I was 8, and I've been hooked ever since). I traded my whole collection years ago, no regrets, and have grabbed a newer/different TMNT thing or two here or there when I find it really cheap.
I'm just so happy to see a resurgence of all of it in stores with the new movie. It's like, childhood joy all over again.
I haven't bought any of the new figures, although they look amazing (I've been pretty tempted).
The thing I love most is that they even reproduced all the ORIGINAL 80s/90s figures pretty much EXACTLY as they were (they did this for He-Man too!) which is awesome, because they LOOK the SAME and you don't have to pay stupid prices on eBay if you just want a figure and not a display piece.
If I ran across a repro Raph or another one of the really cool figures from the old lines (that weren't too pricey), I'd probably jump.
