"But how does it scale?" is a common question for organizational transformation initiatives. The answer is that it scales primarily via enthusiasm and learning, not via structure or framework.

Build a juggernaut that fits 100 people 🚚 - the "framework" approach
Organize a 10km fun run and train people up 🏃 - the nimble, humane approach

Dabei ist jeder Beitrag wichtig und wertvoll, egal ob wir einen Toaster reparieren, regional und saisonal einkaufen, Balkonkraftwerke installieren und auch strukturelle Maßnahmen ergreifen, um Kohlekraftwerke stillzulegen.

Someone asked me yesterday about my comment that Chinese automotive companies will likely own the automotive industry of the future.
Sadly, I think that it is true - the reason for that being that most auto manufacturers seem to continue to be busy fighting the battles of the last century, using product designs, ideas, and concepts involving the vehicle architecture of that era. The other automotive company that has the opportunity to own the industry in the 21st century has a CEO in place who has no focus on the battle ahead.
Case in point? How about this:

I could dig out a zillion articles like this from my research service that play into this theme, but why bother? Many folks have an ingrained belief that the dominant companies of the 20th century will be the dominant ones of the 21st. It's their right!
Rather than doing that, I went into one of my research services and dug out this article from 1962, which involves a desperate plea from the Association of Buggy Whip Manufacturers.

Dabei ist klar: Allein sozial-ökologische #Transformation verlangt nach mehr Mitteln. #Energiewende, #Klimaschutz und #Mobilitätswende lassen sich nicht aus der Portokassen finanzieren. Zumal die öffentliche #Infrastruktur - Schulen, Krankenhäuser, Straßen, Schwimmbäder etc. - dringend modernisiert werden müssen.
Von den # Agrarsubventionen sind 45 von 55 Mrd. € dazu da, um die #CO2Emissionen hoch zu halten. Die #Landwirtschaft in der #EU verursacht 400 Mio. Tonnen #CO2.
Der Anbau von #ökologischem Gemüse mit höchsten Qualitätsstandards würde nur einen Bruchteil an CO2 erzeugen.

Weltweit wird genau die Menge an #photovoltaikmodulen produziert, die wir für die #Transformation brauchen. Gebraucht werden 1,1 TW und produziert werden 2024 1,1 TW.
Weltweit werden aber nur 540 Gigawatt gekauft. Fachkräfte werden gefeuert.
Hier müssen die Staaten eingreifen und Anreize schaffen, damit die restlichen 560 Gigawatt installiert werden und nicht in den Lagern verrotten.
