Ich habe einen #RaspberryPi 4 4GB übrig und mir ein #NesPi 4 dafür geholt. #Batocera ist installiert, xbox-Controller und BT-Trackpad-Tastatur funzen (die Competition pro muss ich noch ausprobieren), übertaktet auf 2100 MHz... Insgesamt finde ich das auch mit der SSD in der Cartridge total cool. Unabhängig von Batocera.
Aber so richtig flasht mich das mit dem #RetroGaming darauf nicht nicht. Aber ich weiß auch nicht, wozu ich die Kiste sonst nutzen soll.
What's the cheapest little home #videoGame console you can buy off aliexpress that would connect to #retroAchievements? I'd like to buy a few and set them up for my friends and family as presents. Install a frontend like #batocera, load it up with roms. Probably a #raspberrypi but maybe there's some other #SBC that'd do the job?
It seems to me that many #RetroHandhelds use the #RK3566 chip. So does the #OrangePi 3B. There's a build of #Batocera for it. It's got gigabit LAN, Wifi 5 and Bluetooth 5. I bet that would play up to PS1, and handle #retroAchievements just fine.
What does one do with a 32bit computer from 2005 with 2gigs of ram and a 30gb hard drive? Tried running 32bit batocera on it for retro gaming and it wouldn’t even boot. It’s got a nice big screen. Antix Linux runs fine though. #batocera#linux#antix
Having some time off from work has meant that I have a little extra time for video games. A couple of my favorites have been #BlasterMaster and #TripWorld.

#Batocera has a pretty slick frontend, but it's really rough around the edges, and when something doesn't work it's hard to figure out what to do about it because it's so weird.

Hice un post con tips para hacerla andar bien en compus bien viejunas. También en el mismo foro está la guía para tenerla con doble booteo con otro linux (se puede tener con doble booteo con w10 tambien pero es más complicado).
After a lot of deliberating about the various #SoC#SBC options (like the #Rockchip#rk3588 that @techaddressed recommended) I saw the #batocera compatibility chart and realized that for best #emulator support it's probably safest to stick to #x86 for this application.
