@fedora@gnome Bug report: GNOME Web cannot display emoji in the URL bar. The URL shown in the video below contains 💕.
@Mastodon Note: video cannot be uploaded due to 422 1000fps videos are not supported error when trying to upload video using standard GNOME screen recorder.]

@ivory#bugreport I noticed if I use the "reply from" picker and choose to reply from an account on a different instance it doesn't carry over account suffixes (I.e. @[instance]).
For example: if I find a post on posted by someone with an @ mastodon.social handle and reply to it using the picker from my handle on infosec.exchange, it will only carry over the @[handle] and not @[handle]@[instance] which is needed to properly address that account from the infosec.exchange instance.
@dungeons@astrelion the character sheet hosted on the website for our newest hero, Cottonmanife the Average, seems to have not generated. Giving a 500 error when trying to load the sheet.
Okay @Tusky , it just boosted and fav'd a post 13 freaking posts away from where I clicked.
There is definitely a #bug there. I'm still not 100% sure how to reproduce it, but it typically happens when coming back to the app, or if, like now, I just finished watching a video, and went to boost it.
It made a little jiggle, and showed the icons unchanged. I checked my profile and find some post I've never seen before. Scroll WAY up the TL and there it is.
Serious question. Is it a complicated process to get the desktop emoji picker to play nice with dark mode? It seems Mastodon and Bluesky both have this problem
@okpierre it's something for the developers to implement, you can't really do much. Mastodon uses old version of Emojimart from what I remember (and maybe it doesn't support dark mode), but why Bluesky doesn't implement it, I dunno...
on the federated timeline, i enjoy a post and want to read the conversation so i click the toot, i can read everything nice
when i go back i end up on a different place on the timeline, way much earlier, then i have to scroll to the place where i stopped, it also reloads all the toots i have already seen again, wtf?
Can you advice me what i do wrong here?
its not a real problem and i am very happy to be able to read you all, life is suffering, love you
i use the browser version
also i am purposefully on a server far away from the location of my physical ass but still my federated timeline is polluted by my german brethren, its ok, but i d like to read the international toots and not have to scroll through the german stuff again and again
@apps looks like I cannot update a pixelfed profile image via the fedilab app though it thinks it has done so - it also thinks it can update a cover image which is not a thing on pixelfed as far as I can tell.
Wasn't there a place in the app where I could set the instance type (pixelfed, lemmy, mastodon, etc.)? I recall seeing it, but cannot find it anymore (search function for settings needed?). #bugreport#featurerequest
