Before designing a website, or even making a small change to an existing one, ask if your design choices consider the needs of people with color blindness. Changing the button color on your website may seem insignificant, but it could make that website inaccessible to nearly 8% of men and 0.4% of women who have color blindness.
Color accessibility is more than just ticking boxes. Even with good contrast, some color palettes can make interfaces challenging for users. Here are some practical guidelines to ensure more inclusive design for colorblind people.

I u derstand that being colour blind is a horrible thing to have to out up with, especially in our modern world where "smart" devices are everywhere and almost every icon or button uses colour to indicate function, but please, 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 watch this video before splashing out big money on a pair of glasses advertised to help correct colour blindness.

I’m colorblind - I see in color but can’t distinguish many shades. The boost button here is hard for me to distinguish the difference between already boosted and ready to boost. Does anyone else have that challenge / issue? #colorblind
