The Fallout show is so good, it’s honestly kind of absurd.
It struck just the right tone, the sets and props are amazing, the direction is superb, the characters well written, and the actors do great stuff with the material.
:vaultboy: Holy moly, a 14GB NextGen Update 9 years after release! Happy to see so much love for the Fallout series 🙏
If you are a new Vault Dweller coming from the tv show - Fallout 4 is chronologically the last game in the series but has the most accessible and modern gameplay. The games don't have to be played in order and can be played on their own, I'd start with #Fallout4 :vaultboy:
Ok, moving on to slightly lighter topics, today is also #Fallout4 Next-Gen patch day!
And if I recall correctly, the game should get verified for #SteamDeck - this whole verification thing is always a puzzle to me, it could mean everything.
I made use of some large foundation pieces to turn this small area into a heavily fortified settlement.
And using the slope of the land I created a hidden basement too.
While #Fallout is in everyone’s minds…for those who don’t remember it I want to call attention to Fallout 4’s presentation back in June 2015, where Todd Howard just nailed the damn delivery but not only that, did something I wish more companies would do: they didn’t announce until they were pretty much ready to ship the game.
Fallout 4 was announced in June, released 5 months later in November. Good stuff.
Speaking of video game adaptations; I really loved the new #Fallout series. They nailed the feel of the game, but also delivered some fantastic storytelling. It even made me want to play the first two Fallouts just to get a little more understanding of the show.
