Five years ago we did a project with our soil and water board to restore 500 feet of with native plants to reduce erosion from boat waves on our lake. Every year they bring about 30 of their peers and students to show the progress.
I'm glad we did this instead of rip wrapping the shore. Only problem have been muskrats tunneling into the bank, and fighting Reed canary grass, which previously occupied the shore. Otherwise, big success. Birds and love it, and we enjoy the view.

Well still being sensible and staying in the house for a few days, so playing with some older shots.

BnW random shot that came out nicely, original colour was way over with the sunlight but the monochrome kinda works.
