Zu einem Themenabend zu neuesten Trends und Entwicklungen im Bereich #LowCode luden gestern die Senatskanzlei Berlin und Fraunhofer FOKUS ein. Expertinnen und Experten diskutierten die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten von Low-Code-Plattformen.
Low-code/no-code platforms may become more accessible and powerful due to the advancement of artificial intelligence, which may result in more automation in code writing.
Three main ways AI is being incorporated into low-code platforms:
1st - there are generative AI capabilities that are designed to improve the developer experience.
2nd - there are generative AI capabilities targeting the end users of the application created using low code.
3rd - there are features related to process improvement.
@victorp So many initiatives for developer productivity seem assume that solving problems through software entails little more than expressing standard solutions through code. Let's hope the folks allocating budgets to software development know that the biggest part of the software developer profession is collaborative modelling, testing, and experimentation.

Bereits mehrfach hat unser Geschäftsbereich Digital Public Services mit der Low-Code Association e.V. zusammengearbeitet. In der Vergangenheit beteiligte sich unser wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter Jan Gottschick beispielsweise am #LowCode Manifest der Association.
Da wir mit unserem Geschäftsbereich Digital Public Services in der Fachgruppe Fachprozesse und sichere Infrastrukturen selbst an Low-Code-Methoden für die Verwaltungsdigitalisierung arbeiten, war das Interesse groß, Wissen zu vernetzen und gemeinsam zu kooperieren.
Als Mitglied des Vereins freuen wir uns nun auf weitere spannende gemeinsame Projekte rund um das Thema #LowCode.

The company behind this "low code" platform has manage to fulfill the secret dream of most back-end programmers: to "get rid" of all the shambolic code normally associated with front-end and being able to develop full-stack web applications only with the help of a drag and drop UI editor and #Python functions: https://anvil.works/

Does anyone know of an #android#lowcode or #nocode simple widget app? I'm trying to find a widget that can display data from a simple web data source. I do not want to write an android app. Thanks!

@dpwiz I am asking because I think the #fp paradigm uniquely enables high-level composable constructs. I would love to see a visual exploration of such.
But if it were for me, I would want essentially gnu #coreutils reimplemented for graphical high-level programming like in a #nocode or #lowcode service.
If I were to write it, I would probably start with #openapi because of the broad adoption of that abstraction, and the market for api operations in small to medium business.
