@bogo Maybe try to hit a personal emotional point. IMHO users start to contribute if there isn't their fav caffee, restaurant, shortcut way, or if they see, that their neighbourhood isn't that well maped compared to the other districts. How about showing whats possible with micromapping? ;-)

In the early years of Twitter there were so many cool apps built on geotagged tweets for use cases like disaster mapping. Also many beautiful maps of spatial patterns of social media from creative coders like Erica Fischer.

Gradually, though, people stopped using geotags in Twitter and nothing quite took its place.

But now with @Edent's work to implement "Foursquare on Mastodon" maybe a new geosocial age is dawning?

@alan @Edent personally I would enjoy a indirect geotagging by refering just to wikidata objects as context. To me this looks a bit more like :ablobcatbongo:

    @SheDrivesMobility weil meine Familie hier lebt und sich da einen Hof aufgebaut hat. ÖPNV nutzte ich bisher mit Abholung, da Nahverkehr mich nicht in vertretbarer Zeit ans Ziel bringt. aber da die Bahn offenbar deutlich unzuverlässiger geworden ist, denke ich über PKW nach, um flexibel und autonom er zu sein. Die Eltern werden ja such nicht jünger ...

    @SheDrivesMobility wir sind froh (und kämpfen) das der Nahverkehr nicht noch weniger wird. Stündlich ein Bus ist schon gut. Nur kann ich es mir nicht leisten, für 80km Luftstrecke 2h unterwegs zu sein, weil Verkehrsmittel unabgestimmt sind. Und im Bedarfsfall will ich auch später / früher fahren können und wir können unser Leben grad auch nicht mehr nach Bustakten gestalten :blobcatshrug:

    Für Linux stehen mit Scribus, Krita und sk1 Grafikprogramme zur Verfügung, die Farbseparation beherrschen und mit Farbprofilen umgehen können. Das ist wichtig, wenn man seinen Lebensunterhalt mit Printgrafik verdient. Mein letzter Versuch mit Scribus, Gimp und Inkscape war eher unerfreulich.

    @der_kleine_herr_b ich bin leider nicht ganz so fit in DTP aber habe außer mit Scribus ganz gerne mit den Tools gearbeitet. Magst du kurz darauf eingehen, worum es bei seinem Thema geht? :ablobcathappypaws:

    @bmdv Ist es noch Aufgabe des Bundesministeriums zentrale digitale Infrastrukturen un Werkzeuge für die Abläufe in Unternehmen des bereitzustellen? Ebenso Vorschläge zu erarbeiten, wie Strukturen der Verkehrsverbünde umgestaltet werden? Kommunen sind doch nur Besitzer und Erbringen der Leistungen, oder?

    @heiseonline oh man. Ich verstehe ja, dass man zur Erledigung von Aufgaben UAVs gerne highlevel ansteuern will. Aber das Ganze hat ja eher 0-Fehlertolleranz und ich sehe da auch keinen friedlichen usecase wo der operator so wahnsinnig viele Dinge gleichzeitig machen muss, dass er nen voice interface braucht :blobcathug:

    🍏 We’ve been here before, multiple times, but it’s one of my pet peeves. I’m sorry Apple Maps sucks so much at actually navigating here, because the app looks SO good. No one else has this attention to detail!

    Trees, crosswalks, everything looks so perfect. But follow directions = get fines.

    @maique i fehlt in love with @streetcomplete APP. It supports adding details to POIs as well as adding lane details to ways etc. via overlays. You can also add new POIs via Overlay.

    I'm pretty old school and use pen&paper or street level imagery like to record ground truth and add it to OSM later on via JOSM editor. Maybe a tip to pro GIS for you? Even the website embedded 'I'd editor works well for small edits. Other tried @vespucci_editor for mobile edditing :blobcatthumbsups:

    Durch den wachsenden Online-Handel und ein verändertes Kaufverhalten kämpfen immer mehr Einkaufszentren mit Leerstand. 🏬

    Besonders für mittelgroße Städte ist es schwer, die Innenstädte attraktiv zu gestalten und mit dem Angebot der Großstädte mitzuhalten. 🛍️

    @NDR warum Oberhaupt Handel? In Zeiten von online brauche ich doch eigentlich nur noch etwas zum an probieren (Klamotten, ...) oder was sich noch nicht sinnvoll liefern lässt (Lebensmittel, ...). Früher gab es eher Dienstleister (Schuster, Bäcker, ...) oder Kleinkrams (Metallwaren, Elektro, ...) den man sehr schnell haben wollte. Hätte ich eher gerne wieder so und weniger Konsum generell in der city :ablobcathappypaws:

    @Karlitschek ich arbeite schon lange in ÖD / Verwaltung und liebe NC, aber ernsthaft, musstet ihr unbedingt auch auf den KI Zug aufspringen? :blobcatfacepalm: Es liegt so viel im Argen bei (Forms, Workflows, Medienbrüche und Schnittstellen, Lizenzkosten, internes knowhow, Barrierefreiheit und echte Online-Zugänglichkeit...) Aber KI braucht es dazu IMHO wirklich noch nicht.
