We used to have apps that didn't require much more than working machine to run it on. Nowadays we need also internet, modern OS, separate in-app account and also we have to watch ads inside the app. If this isn't absurd then I don't know what it is. #modern#software#apps
Dropped some updates to selfh.st/apps this morning - tiles now have visible/clickable tags, URL properties have been added for sharing custom views with others, and I've added a ton of new project icons.
I'm completely open to feedback on future improvements, but probably won't consider adding any more details to the tiles to prevent them from becoming too cluttered.

This website solved an issue I had. A good alternative to Typeform. Because we all know 21 EUR/month * 12 months (252 EUR) for a subscription is absolute horseshit.

If we keep getting rejected only one of us looks bad given what we’re already delivering and how close we are to wider availability. It’ll be embarrassing to some folks if the Small Web launches as a free and open alternative to the Big Web, made in the EU with zero EU public funding when organisations exist that say they fund exactly what it delivers. So, yeah, let’s see.
