Last night I went to see Ex-Kraftwerk Wolfgang Flür perform. Peter Duggal was his warm up act. It was an amazing night with friends.
I stepped more than three times my daily step goal last night dancing!
I brought Wolfgang's Machine one album today and Peter's CD last night. The merchandise stand was cash only so I didn't have enough to get Wolfgang to sign one of his albums or t-shirts 😪
Throwback to building big speakers in 2011-12 and hiring them out to bass nights... Sometimes I miss the way the serious bottom end would vibrate my entire body, but on the plus side I get a lot more sleep these days.
Von A. Kartschall.
Attention #BandcampFriday people! If you have club style #techno techno or #minimal techno tracks between 128-134 BPM or #trance that leans more traditional rather than progressive between 142-145 BPM, drop me some links in the comments.
LOL, just found an EP called I Ate Acid on Christmas. I should reach out and see if the person wants to do a split release of this and my track "I Always Love Tripping at Xmas"...
Here's mine (weird #experimental#soundscape featuring a fake "sleigh bell" sample mutilated beyond all reason), for reference:
Berlin’s techno scene was born in the abandoned warehouses and communist-era squats by young people yearning for freedom in the once-divided city. Now, the cultural revolution associated with the throbbing electronic music has been recognized by UNESCO and inscribed on the German national Registry of Intangible Cultural Heritage. BBC Travel has more, including what these designations mean to Berlin’s club culture. https://flip.it/W4kLhE #Culture#Music#Clubbing#Berlin#Techno#Germany#Europe
