Sierra Blanca is a 'sugar cookie' this Sunday morning because it's covered with a dusting of snow.
The summit is over 30 miles distant. That makes the fresh white snow look a bit yellowish, and the blue haze across the miles tints the distant flanks and lowers contrast. (A polarizer would have cut the haze and added snap to the distant terrain.)
The foreground ridge is covered in conifers, dark green.
Visiting family in rural New Mexico, and Lex had this amazing Disney Princess Moment. Where a wild horse just walked up and let her pet him. 🤯 https://flic.kr/p/2oRZ18v
Two images taken at Shoreham Boardwalk, Sussex, UK last spring. Both handheld, same time, same camera, from the same place. One max zoom and the other max wide angle. Camera used: Canon Powershot SX50 HS with 50 X zoom, Ultra Wide Angle, 24-1200mm lens.
The wonders of:
a) modern superzoom bridge cameras
and
b) long lens distance compression.
I usually follow back, & love boosts.
