That's the abuse of power mega asshole, RCMP CIRG CO Sgt Jason Charney, in article photo - being a jerk to journalist, Brandi Morin. He's same guy I've posted about multiple times before. He's evil, violent & should be in jail but RCMP made him a CO 😡🤮
[A Campbell River landmark during the town’s early years, the Willows Hotel served both an international sportsfishing clientele and the rough and ready loggers from isolated camps. This permanent exhibit shows the Willows’ façade and entrance through which visitors step into the hotel lobby as it would have appeared c. 1914]
This #Thunderbird#Bear Pole was inspired by a pole carved by Sam Henderson in the 1960s. This pole was #carved by Sam’s son Bill and grandsons Junior, Greg and Will.
We met this friendly little native boy by the riverside. As I was coming down the trail to the riverbank, he grinned & then told me he's going to catch me with his net 😂 He was with his Dad, fishing. Little dude wanted to show us the little fish he caught in his net. He released it after.
We stopped in #UnionBay along the way home yesterday. Bought 4 lbs of #ManillaClams from #FannyBaySeafood store - located below gas station/store/cold beer & wine/Subway beside the Buckley Bay ferry terminal.
Current market price for their #clams is $8.50/lb.
Boiled up today. Ate the clams with #NuocCham sauce, with fresh squeezed lime/pulp & fine minced Thai chilies.
I stalk #bees even when away from home. While Mom was having a bathroom break, I wandered into fields & saw tiny patch of red #clover blossoms. Then, saw a very determined #bumblebee who was so focused on their #pollination & feeding job that they were rather oblivious to my giant human presence. I got these wonderful photos 😍
One several photos I took of Mom, doing her fave beach scavenging thing - collecting rocks & driftwood.
By time we left Campbell River, half of our trunk was filled with rocks & other half with driftwood. Mom was saying, if she had a truck & a tow line - she'd be taking home larger driftwood pieces 😂🤣
