What advice would you give to someone just starting out in a relationship?

Mine might sound kind of dark in relation to the question, but here goes:

People change, and they should, it's part of being a person. Some people are lucky, and they change in the same direction, but some don't, and that's okay too. There's no shame in leaving a relationship or changing the nature of a relationship that no longer serves you. We are all taught that every relationship, whether romantic or friendship, is supposed to last forever, but nothing is forever, and forcing something that no longer works, just ends in anger and bitterness. Knowing when to let go is as important as knowing when to hold on through a rough patch, and how to know either of those things is the most cliché advice of all, COMMUNICATE.

I had a pretty amazing score of tools today.

Last weekend at set build, one of the other volunteers was admiring my homemade tool battery. Today you came up to me and told me that someone had his condos was getting rid of a bunch of tools because they didn't have a battery. He asked if I wanted to have them to see if I could build a battery for them like I did for my drill.

I said yes, not really expecting anything good, but he walked me out to his car and handed me a big bag of tools, all of which use the exact same type of battery used by my drill and my impact driver that I dug out of the trash a few weeks ago.

He gave me a cordless sawzall, a drill, a flashlight / lantern, and another battery charger. A whole suite of these tools now!

First thing I'm going to do is convert the incandescent flashlight/lantern to LED

Played guitar for about an hour and a half. Just slowly easing back into playing guitar again. 😂🎸

@RickiTarr oh, um, I'm in this picture and undiagnosed... No wonder my diagnosed children tell me I'm asd. I thought I was being my style of cool. 😂 Like I hit the 1990's and said this is my flavor of normal for the rest of my life. 😂

I tried my hardest to use as much Spanish as I could this evening and was made painfully aware of how little garden/farm specific verbage I had to pull from. If there's a failing with basic Spanish education it's the not allowing of field specialization early on. I feel it's beginning to look a lot more like I'll need that third or fourth year with Spanish specialization in order to achieve what I want in the field I'm going into.

Here's the flyer I made for tonight's family night at one of the elementary schools. We planted grass seeds into paper cups which the students drew faces on. Busy, fun times with several older students stopping by to say hi. They're growing up so fast!

Every student will get their own again this year!!! Hooray! It's such a long year collecting these buckets and bringing them home, storing them until it's time to plant, but the joy on each student's face as they realize it's their bucket of food is priceless.
I have 100 buckets drilled and prepped. Let's go plant with first graders!
But first, hand therapy. 😂

It was trying to find hiding spots in my potato bin which has wood chip litter covering the soil. I got it onto a wood chip and took it to another wood litter spot. It then kept trying to hide in the corners of the cardboard I set it down on instead of going to the litter. 😆

This is Pepper, the carpenter ant. Since she was the most recent to escape she now has the green mark of shame (and a name “Peppermint”) She is a very small minor worker. She climbed the tweezers to explore my hand. She has been returned to the colony and it will be interesting to see if she is as bold as Tulip. (who has a pink dot, and who is quite a bit larger— although neither are majors.)

Pepper is the most dusty ant I’ve ever seen.

One time we went to this great cigar bar, and I convinced my husband to pose with a cigar, so I could get a picture, but then he said to not post a picture of him with a cigar, so I had to get creative.
