I like immigration. I like not to have serious skills gaps in our services. I like mixing with people who grew up in other countries. I like being enriched by other cultures. I would like the feeling that my country opened its arms to people fleeing terrible situations elsewhere. I don’t understand why other people don’t think like this

Our local councillor is a Tory and has been posting those signs around that have the Tory candidate on them. Does anyone know where I can get some signs that say “vote tactically, stop the Tories” or something

Village WhatsApp groups are such great spaces to find out how people think the internet works. Just write “is anyone having trouble with their internet?” And immediately you’ll get all kinds of bizarre theories about what to do to get it back. Today’s: “we had a power cut so it might take a while to come back on”

10 years or so ago I went to Australia and saw that the big thing was bao buns. Now it’s finally caught up here. Last @emf orga meeting tonight! We'll increasingly be on site now that buildup has started. Can't believe we're finally here. Always a huge rush at the end. My life is currently outlined as "before EMF and after EMF" and the "after" seems a long way away still!

Being at with kids is a different experience. Sitting listening to the music of null sector drinking club mate and eating pretzels while the kids sleep. Kind of nice to wind down after a busy day rescuing crows and wrangling arcade machines, children, and speakers!
