The Republican justices know why they were put there and have delivered for their party once again. Not sure why anyone really expects them to be non-political at this point.

It's unfortunate that that SCOUTUS currently has a 6-3 radical, conservative majority, leading to decisions that align with Trump's policies. ⚖️

SCOTUS will review Trump’s claim that he is shielded from prosecution for actions taken while in office, delaying his trial on charges of conspiring to overturn his 2020 election loss to remain in power.

We have ensure Trump is NEVER elected again. This case needs to go to trial be4 the 2024 election. Trump needs to be held accountable.

I like this article, especially “Lesson 3” on the list of misconceptions, that Donald Trump has “electoral magic.”

Nikki Haley (and no, I don’t support her) just got 39% of the vote in South Carolina against the person who is supposedly in full control of the GOP. He will get the nomination but he is weak. Some of those 39% in the general will not be with him.

The MAGA GOP top priority in Congress over the past 5 months arguably has been to block aid for Ukraine's fight against Putin's invasion. They wouldn't agree to a budget that included such aid. They wouldn't agree to a continuing resolution that included it. They wouldn't agree to a border security bill that included it. This has been Putin's top priority, and thus Trump's, and they've been successful so far.

Johnson has spoken repeatedly and sometimes vehemently about pending issues. He has called for tougher policies to halt the surge of migrants coming across the U.S.-Mexico border. He has said he favors additional aid for Ukraine in its war against Russian aggression and more assistance for Israel in its war with Hamas. But he has delivered on none of this, even when given the opportunity for action.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem back in the news ... again.

South Dakota has apologized and will pay $300,000 under a settlement with a transgender advocacy group that sued Gov. Kristi Noem and her health secretary last year after the state terminated a contract with it.

Attorneys for the Transformation Project announced the settlement Monday. The nonprofit sued last year after the state canceled the contract for a community health worker in December 2022.
