😳Why yes, I did feel this in Thousand Oaks as I was looking out the window at the rain 🤦🏻‍♀️.

The good news? My Quake Alert app worked. I had a couple of seconds warning and no damage, just shaking. We’re fine.

Hopefully - but very highly unlikely - the media will point out the idiocy of TFG's post. Nothing was "attacked", a warrant was obtained to allow information to be part of the legal record. Tweets are public. The only non-public aspects would be DMs - which are communications that can be searched just as any other form of communication can be searched.

Will SOMEONE highlight for the public that these posts by Trump are nothing more than intimidation and tampering via lies???

A successful prosecution does not hinge on what Trump BELIEVED about the 2020 election. If Trump is convicted, it will be based on his ACTIONS.

Whether or not he believed his own lies. The problem is Trump, working in concert with his co-conspirators, "pursued unlawful means of discounting legitimate votes and subverting the election results."

The indictment details how Trump conspired to create fake sets of electors in seven states. Then it sent these slates of electors to the Senate and the U.S. archivist in an attempt to cling to power.

If proven, that's illegal. Regardless of what Trump believed.

You can legitimately believe you won the election and there are legitimate ways to press that claim forward, like filing a lawsuit.

Creating a fake set of electors and then pressuring your VP to declare them valid electors is not one of your legal options.

Explained it this way: "I walk into a bank, and I think they are wrongfully holding my money.

The crime was the INTENT; the TACTICS only support proving that there was an ILLEGAL INTENT.

(He lied many, many, MANY other times that were not part of a criminal conspiracy to overthrow the government - those lies were unethical, wrong, stupid, grandiose, quasi-delusional, etc. - but not crimes.)
