I'd say that if enough people from the left side of the aisle continue to attack Joe Biden this year on social media that even despite the GOP's fundraising woes that they could still win control of all three branches of government.

The Czech company Czechoslovak Group warns that rising prices and poor quality mean half of the shells it receives cannot be sent to Ukraine promptly. CSG plans to start supplying shells in June but faces issues with shells from Africa and Asia, requiring additional processing.

Just one of the new factories that Joe Biden has been able to start here in the USA will be able to provide 30,000 155 mm artillery shells to Ukrainian soldiers per month once it's completed, staffed, and supply chains are secured thankfully.

We're also expanding our manufacturing capability for the desperately needed Patriot air defense missiles from 100 to 650/year too. Sadly things like that can't be built overnight though.

What these low propensity voters are doing by so successfully attacking Joe Biden and Democrats during the election campaign is actually forcing the party to the right in order to woo more Republicans to vote blue this year sadly too.

NO! There are a total of 221 customers in my county. All but 10 customers have power back. I'm one of the "lucky" few still waiting. I just have a 50 watt solar panel to charge a battery that I can run the internet on for a little while.

Another Russian biker that got taken out by FPV units of the 47th Mechanized Brigade. Lately, Russians are increasingly using this type of transport at the frontline.

Looking like my batteries may run out of juice before they can fix the power lines.

Severe weather left its mark on a crowded southern Kentucky marina on Lake Cumberland.

Conley Bottom was hit hard when a storm system moved in early Monday. The marina was rocked from one side to the other as a severe weather system rolled through the area around 1 a.m.

The question is, what caused the damage? Straight-line winds? A tornado? That is yet to be determined by what took place.

Sweden allows Ukraine to strike on Russian territory with its supplied weapons.

"Ukraine is subject to an unprovoked and illegal war of aggression by Russia. Ukraine has the right under international law to defend itself through acts of war directed against the territory of the opponent as long as the acts of war comply with the laws of war. Sweden supports international law and Ukraine's right to defend itself," Defense Minister Pål Jonson said.

Every country's citizens need to decide for themselves whether or not to allow Ukraine to use the weapons that they are providing to them to bomb the native territory of the Russian Federation.

If the Ukrainians don't like any restrictions placed on their weapons use than they are free to refuse to accept them.

Putin has sacrificed over half a million Russians (some of them are foreign mercenaries shanghaied into their army though too) towards his fantasy of expanding Moscow's empire even further into Europe.

Adding in the massive diaspora and you end up with an economy that can't afford to wage this war for much longer I expect.

There's a story out of North Carolina that provides insight into how far Putin is willing to go towards causing turmoil in the USA so that Americans will gravitate to the GOP.

A Russian-linked firm started a company that subcontracts with our utilities to map the powerlines and such. They were caught because they happened to also attempt surveilling one of our special military personnel.

Wow, it's the middle of the night in Pakistan and India, and the "feels like" temperature in Hyderabad is 106F. Earlier it was "feels like" 120F including humidity.

Many communities with high heat and low humidity do not have the water available to take advantage of evaporative cooling sadly.

Microgrids that can provide a cool place for the community to ride out heat waves may be their most achievable relief the quickest I think.

The World Court is not doing itself any favors towards advancing its legitimacy by pushing forward rulings which it is powerless to uphold, but it is just another sign of how much our international organizations' need for reform.

Maybe after Moscow's empire finally crumbles will provide a good opportunity to try to make them better.

Putin is on the ropes and needs to be knocked out instead of letting him call a time out to recover. The world's largest battery-electric container ship, Greenwater 01, has started regular service between Shanghai and Nanjing.

The Greenwater 01 is 394 feet long and 78 feet wide, and the main battery needed to power it has a capacity of over 50,000 kilowatt-hours — more energy than it would take to power four average-sized households for an entire year. Even more battery capacity can be added for longer journeys.

Well, this is going to be how we're going to be able to transition away from fossil fuels in that sector imo.

And just imagine how easy it'll be to use those batteries for grid storage after they've degraded too much for EVs too!

Personally, unless I learn otherwise my assumption about why people like Nikki Haley, John Bolton, Bill Barr, etc. publicly state that they'll not vote for Joe Biden is because the fossil fuel industry has paid them to say that.

In 2024, it's us against the fossil fuel industry!

Bill Browder testified to a UK parliamentary committee yesterday on sanctions and is worth watching imo.

The takeaway from it should be imo that the Russian economy is on the brink of collapse and if we can tighten sanctions just a little more that Moscow's war will soon have to end.

After the GOP convention, we need a bunch of lawsuits challenging Trump's qualifications to be on state election ballots. SCOTUS only ruled on the primary ballots.
