On https://code.forgejo.org I currently get the message that my account is disabled when signing in with my Codeberg account.
Also from terminal with ssh key I get "Forgejo: Your account is disabled.".

My repositories that I migrated from codeberg.org are still available https://code.forgejo.org/LinuxUserGD

Did I choose the wrong instance? It was recommended to switch from Codeberg to Forgejo Next but I don't know if code.forgejo.org is permanently open to user registration.

Could you please check if my account on https://code.forgejo.org was disabled by mistake - or should I write an email instead?

Die Meldung erscheint im Firefox übrigens schon nach der Aktivierung des Trackingschutzes in den Einstellungen, also auch, wenn kein Adblocker installiert wurde.

Twitter / X is serving users with a new ad format that can't be blocked or reported

the ads aren't even actual X posts & aren't connected to any X accounts. they do not disclose that they are ads

it appears the ads are connected to clickbait ad networks

    @Linux_in_a_Bit Should I say Android, Android Linux, Linux or Bionic/Linux then? 🤔
    Agree that nowadays there is Clang, musl libc and rust uutils coreutils so GNU software might only be used for the build system, on the other hand the Linux kernel only contributes hardware drivers for a functioning operating system. Mesa, Wayland, GTK/QT, window and package managers are similarly important.

    I posted this question to the Nitter Matrix room but figured I'd post it here too: Do we know how Nitter use impacts user and view counts within the Twitter system itself? Like do all these ghost accounts inflate the DAU/MAU and does an instance reading a tweet increase the view count metrics according to Twitter? I use Nitter because I want to view some accounts that didn’t leave Twitter without contributing view counts but if those are still increasing by reading accounts via Nitter I’ll probably end up only using even that only sparingly. I hate the idea of contributing to the Musk machine even in infinitesimal ways.

    If anyone was considering Kagi (premium search engine) but was put off the limits on number of searches, they dropped that entirely for most- the $10 tier is now just unlimited searches.

    $10/mo for "a Google that actually works" is very worth it to me, though your mileage may vary.
