Echt jetzt, die dachten mittels KI Arbeit zu sparen und jetzt wird die Arbeitslosen zustellungen noch Teuer? Ist meiner Meinung nach nun nicht überraschend aber vielleicht widerspreche ich einfach immer deren Hoffnungen?! Es ist wohl keine Frage, welche Seite naiv so wie leichtgläubig ist!

An analysis of Audacity forks in 2024.

The main contributors to Audacity are Paul (5k), and James (2k, but stopped contributing after Muse Group).

The main contributor to Tenacity is 'generic-pers0n', and this account has apparently only begun commits after the fork. A daunting task!

My analysis is that Tenacity is "alive" but not "well". Since no Audacity contributors are active, this fork has an uphill battle!

@SirLich I've opened a build system bug report and a fix was available at the same day. There are currently 128 open upstream pull requests but only 8 tenacity PRs, so it seems users have switched back to the upstream project? There is a wikipedia article about Audacity but no article refers to Tenacity as an alternative except alternativeto.net.

    @djlink Microsoft because most compatible with Linux environment (GitHub, Wine/Steam, Linux kernel compatible hardware, MSVC).
    Maybe Apple for developing WebKit and supporting Unix shells / Clang.
    Not sure why someone would select Google.
    Nintendo buys hardware from other vendors (e. g. IBM) and creates closed DRM systems for playing games while illegalizing emulators.

    Yes I am aware of the whole Red Hat meeting leak, no I am not talking about it until someone can prove it's actually real. All we have is some anonymous person said this happened, and there's some things that don't line up like Anne H Moorer not having the position it lists

    To confirm it's written with ChatGPT, recording the text with a speech recognition model like Whisper and then verifying the text with an AI detector like ZeroGPT should work.

    If for whatever reason you never wish to interact with , you can personally block it for your account. This hides all posts and profiles from Threads, prevents anyone from Threads from following you, and stops your posts from being delivered to or fetched by Threads. Simply click the "Block domain threads.net" option on any Threads profile or post you see in Mastodon.

    Ist @cwtch sicherer als @session ?
    Beide Messenger unterstützen dezentralisierte verschlüsselte Peer-to-Peer Chats, #cwtch über Union Routing, während #session Lokinet/Oxen Blockchains nutzt.
    Laut der Website ist Open Privacy (im Gegensatz zur Oxen Privacy Tech Foundation) eine Nonprofit-Organisation.
    Allerdings gibt es für die https://cwtch.im App noch kein Security Audit?

    Stimmt, wobei der Nutzer über den Einladungslink nicht identifizierbar sein sollte, weil SimpleX Profile eine ID je Chatverlauf übermitteln. Ein zweiter Einladungslink des gleichen Kontakts öffnet einen neuen Chat und im Incognito Modus ist der Nutzername zufällig.

    The Associated Press just served me an ad for fake anti-virus. The entire page was taken over, and forwarded to the malicious site, within seconds of opening the news article, every time.

    An ad blocker isn't just something to hide some annoying eyesores, it's a vital layer of security.

    If you have friends or family who might fall for fake AV or "windows technical the department" scams, they need an ad blocker. No site they visit can be considered "safe" unless it simply doesn't have ads.
