Debian Users - Be aware the maintainer of the KeePassXC package for Debian has unilaterally decided to remove ALL features from it. You will need to switch to keepassxc-full to maintain capabilities once this lands outside of testing/sid.

@PC_Fluesterer Ich weiß nicht, was von beiden schlimmer ist. Für mich ist es häufig das Dritte: Völliges Unverständnis der Implikationen. Insbesondere wenn Du auf die Frage, warum denn da z.B. Firebase Analytics in einer App ist die Antwort bekommst, man nutze das ja gar nicht – und der 5-Zeiler für deren build.gradle, um es draußen zu halten, total ignoriert wird – dann fällt mir nichts mehr ein.

AI/KI ist total "out of control":

"Das Unternehmen gibt offen zu, falsche Informationen auf ChatGPT nicht korrigieren zu können", erklärte NOYB. "Das Unternehmen weiß nicht einmal, woher die Daten stammen oder welche Daten ChatGPT über einzelne Personen speichert."

Und das soll die "Zukunft" sein, die "all unsere Probleme lösen" will? Da frage ich mich ernsthaft, wo unsere NI (natürliche Intelligenz) geblieben ist…

Alle, die ein wenig Ahnung von haben warnen seit Jahren vor dieser Fehlkonstruktion, der sogenannten , wo Rad- und Autoverkehr im Kreuzungsvorlauf gemischt werden, weil sie unübersichtlich und gefährlich für alle Verkehrsteilnehmer ist.

Nun ist es also passiert. LKW tötet Radfahrerin an genau dieser Stelle in .

Das auf der Luftbildaufnahme bei Google Maps gleich' zwei Autos den Radweg blockieren ist Zufall. Oder?

@jwildeboer klappt übrigens auch in Valencia, wie dieses Foto (vom letzten Monat) zeigt: Klar markierter Radweg (die sind hier immer Grün, für den "grünen Verkehr" statt Rot für "gefährlichen Bereich"), zusätzlich mit Blumenkästen aus Beton zur Fahrspur der Kraftfahrzeuge getrennt. Radfahrer sind so optimal geschützt.

Habe ich dort an vielen Stellen so gesehen, wenn auch nicht durchgängig. Hier an der Marina.

Seit wann sind eBooks eigentlich teilweise mit Adobe DRM? Scheinbar kann man es auch vor dem Kauf nicht sehen ob hinten mit oder ohne DRM rausfällt.... muss ich mir wohl nen neuen Shop suchen oder die Jolly Roger hissen (auch wenn das bei Büchern IMHO etwas uncool ist)

@j_r Beschweren und Geld zurück verlangen – mit der begründung, dass Du die auf Deinem eBook Reader nicht lesen kannst. Wenn Einschränkungen (hier DRM) nicht ausgewiesen sind, kannst Du das ja vor dem Kauf nicht wissen.

Meine Bibliothek (https://ebooks.qumran.org/) kann Dir ggf. teilweise mit "Lesefutter" helfen. Aber nur mit freiem (also freie Lizenz oder vom Autori explizit zur Verfügung gestellt). Aktuelle Werke sind da recht selten…

Oof, make that 9 updates; I had to roll back one of them as Round Sync added a self-updater (thus bypassing the additional APK scans in my repo). Author is contacted and will hopefully take care soon.

Should you have noticed a short "absence" of the primary web server, that was probably the reboot…

A CVE was published to oss-sec 5 days ago and got its fixes available today (https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2024-2961), so it was applied immediately as the vuln would have affected some components here.

My thanks here once more goes to @obfusk for bringing it to my attention – and to my service provider who swiftly applied the updates within just minutes 🤩

Ich habe ja noch einen Vorschlag, wie die DB den organisatorischen Aufwand für die Fahrgastentschädigungen massiv senken könnte: Alle Fahrgäste bekommen umsonst eine Bahncard 25, dann sind die 25% Rückerstattung für 1-2 Stunden Verspätung schon immer pauschal ausgezahlt

@alex @doofeohren Meine entsprechende App-Liste (https://android.izzysoft.de/applists/category/named/office_speech#group_1187) weist dazu nur 2 Apps aus: Kõnele (https://f-droid.org/packages/ee.ioc.phon.android.speak/) und Sayboard (https://f-droid.org/packages/com.elishaazaria.sayboard/). Vielleicht passt ja eine davon für Eure Bedürfnisse?
