"It is Ian’s regular smoothie. Some raspberries, a fistful of spinach, Icelandic yogurt (Finnish, if they are out of Icelandic), spirulina, wheatgrass, acerola cherry powder, Chlorella, kelp, açai extract, cocoa nibs, zinc, beetroot essence, chia seeds, mango zest, and ginger. External fermentation of food may be the key to the evolution of increased brain size.

It wasn't fire (cooked food has more bioavailable energy than raw) because brain size started increasing a million years before fire was tamed and used.

I notice now that the little double arrow "boost" symbol, when activated, not only changes color (a change invisible to the colorblind) but also gains a small square in the middle (obvious to all, including the colorblind). A kudos to the design team!

First sprout in indoor planter

The purple basil is first out of the gate, but I can see rosemary and garlic chives starting to stir. I added new seeds to green shiso and red shiso, though they may simply take longer to germinate. Germination times: basil 3-10 days; rosemary 14-30 days; chives 14 to 20 days, shiso 7-21 days.

The weird lighting is from the grow lights. To my eye, the light is white, but the camera doesn't see it that way.
