I've been trying to have my insulin refilled all week. I've had problems with the Walgreens that is closest to me for various reasons but moreso with this particular prescription. The pharmacist I spoke with today.... I'll leave that part at that

But the main problem is my insurance, which cost a friggin fortune, with a large deductible, will no longer cover the generic insulin. The brand name is in short supply.

Last year I posted a link to an article on Alan Canfora's website regarding Ohio National Guard's order to fire on students at Kent State. This year, I can't use that link because the website is gone. That makes me very sad. Alan Canfora was the student shot in the wrist at the Kent State protest on May 4, 1970.

The attackers were called "Pro American and Pro Israel counter protesters."

I've seen so many posts and heard many talking heads talk about how student protesters during Vietnam war ended up getting Nixon elected. They say that current students who are protesting the US and Israeli genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank need to pay attention to that. "They'll defeat their purpose and get trump elected"

The greater majority of US people, more so democrats, want this genocide to end. Biden just said he's not going to do anything to stop it. His only response to nationwide protests was to single out a few who are being antisemitic and not even address the concerns of the protestors.
