If you know anyone who used , please encourage them to take steps to opt out of the new terms of service they’re sending customers.

Basically they got hacked big time. And are putting language in the new ToS that you can’t sue them for losing your DNA information, even though the hack has already happened

Why do I ?

  • It is a chance to use any new techniques or learning I picked up throughout the year.

  • It is a chance to push all my "tools" for a repo to their latest versions

  • It is either a chance to learn a new language, or learn new features of that continue to surprise and delight me.

  • It is exciting to see how my friends and peers solve the problem, each day we get a new problem to discuss and work on.

Not a bad day. I managed to get the new Epyc server built and sorted out how to run containers without root, then got mobilizon (https://meetups.infosec.exchange) up and running in a container on the new server. I am 98% complete with moving video.infosec.exchange there - peertube’s config files are dramatically different between a bare metal install (what the current site uses) and a containerized version - it’s been tedious to sort everything out, but I think I’m close.

Next will be moving pixel, elk, matrix, infosec.pub, and infosec.place to it. Matrix will be next as it’s running low on disk space.
