According to the Portland Police Association, a settlement has been reached in the lawsuit brought by frmr Portland City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty against the union. So far no court docs have been released with settlement amounts and Hardesty hasn't responded to KGW's inquiry.

This Oregon veteran has his veteran disability benefits fraudulently stolen right out of his Direct Express account. Initially Direct Express said the charges looked clean. It took KGW asking questions for them to say they'd give the fraudulent charges another look, and refund him.

WOMANS BODY FOUND AT VACANT WILSONVILLE PROPERTY
#Wilsonville OR - Monday morning a worker found a woman’s body on a vacant property near Wilsonville. On Tuesday, an autopsy determined the cause of death to be homicidal violence and Clackamas County Sheriffs Office confirmed the case is being investigated as such. Sheriff’s said they won’t release any details about the victim till their family has been notified. No arrests & no suspects atm

#portland OR - Portland police officer Corey Budworth posted a video apology for hitting photographer Teri Jacobs in the head with a baton during 2020 racial justice protests. The apology comes after the 4th degree misdemeanor charges against Budsworth were dismissed. In the Video, Budsworth said he met with Jacob’s through the restorative justice process
