Is there a password manager that can be saved on a flash drive? Ideally, like Tor, where it doesn't show up in the list of Apps on a computer and runs wholly off of where it's unpacked.

I'd like to harden some passwords that I use at work, but don't want them stored in a manager at work either.

Or is that just a YubiKey?

If you're on Windows or macOS and want to upgrade to Thunderbird 115 right now, you don't need to wait for the auto-update.

Just download the installer at https://thunderbird.net, and install it over your existing version. This is effectively a manual upgrade from 102 to 115.

If you're using Linux, well, it gets more complicated... For now, we recommend waiting for your distro's maintainers to send it your way. Or wait for our Flatpak release, which should happen very soon.

I don't have a pet, but this little goober showed up a month or so ago. They really show how frenetic chipmunks are when you can see them.

Pretty sure they're true albino. Haven't got a pic, but I saw the eyes are pink.

So, I spend a lot of time reading weird books and occasionally I post bits of what I find. Lately I've been thinking about having some kind of site for Zach Reads Books, e.g. reviews, jokes, maybe readings? What's the format for this today? Youtube?

If you want to stay on ActivityPub/be able to boost it on this account, Bookwyrm is a GoodReads-like that federates. I do my book rambling in there.

It allows reviews, comments, and quotes from the books (with optional comment from you.)

I enjoy it.

We are working to add the ability to follow instances (ie: pin timelines).
You will be able to interact with your Mastodon accounts. It will work like other followed instances.

From what I've read, I'm not 100% sure Kbin has an API yet. Y'all would be the first with an app not in beta for it if you got it to work though.

    They weren't circa 2007. Though I was taking CS at a liberal arts college...and ended up doing poorly enough that I flipped my major and minor.

    I tried to add text to a PDF at home for the first time in ages. At work, we have Adobe installed, so I just use that. At home, I've had forever. Turns out at some point, they started demanding you log in to use their services. I didn't know that until I had finished adding text and it wouldn't let me print or save.

    It got uninstalled.

    Turns out, Draw is a viewer/editor thing. While not as polished as FoxIt or Adobe's offerings, it worked well enough and didn't want anything invasive.

    Another victory for LibreOffice!

    Great that kickstarter has finally rolled back their dumbass blockchain shit now the bottom has fully fallen out of crypto and the next tech fad (AI) is on the scene

    But they're the reason we couldn't do a kickstarter for Kitsune Tails (we refused to be culpable in crypto bullshit) and why we're trying to race towards the finish line now before our bank account fully reaches zero. Their stupidity and shitty CEO has caused us tremendous stress and hardship, so I don't know if we'll ever use them again, and Kitsune Tails will be smaller in scope due to what they did than we originally planned, with fewer side activities. Not none, because I felt they were still important enough to break my back for

    Anyway if you'd like to help us in ways Kickstarter never did, or just reward us for taking a principled stance against crypto BS, giving to ko-fi (https://ko-fi.com/sharkhugseniko) or pledging to my patreon (https://www.patreon.com/sharkhugseniko) goes a long way because basically every penny we have is going into development

    I was mostly joking, I've only ever seen it used for Mastodon instances and their ilk. It's another monthly payment site akin to Patreon, but it takes no money beyond transaction fees. Like Itch, smaller crowd, but a bigger cut. Also, you might have to be working on a Libre/FOSS thing to get an account to receive money? I'm not sure on that one.

    But yeah, Patreon/Kofi are fine.
