This month it is 30 years since I started working on browsers. April 1994 is when Geir and I started working on the Opera browser. We founded the company a year later.
Initially I made the UI, while Geir did a lot of the core.
Since that time I have dedicated myself to making the Web live up to its potential. First at Opera and now at Vivaldi.
If you ever used Opera and you have not tried Vivaldi, I invite you to give us a try!
If you never used Opera or Vivaldi, you are invited as well!

Thanks and appreciation, Jon. I think I used Opera from version 5 onwards, and until you ended it, it was my standard browser. Opera Mail - great! And Unite, what a brilliant idea, I used it and loved it, but unfortunately it came a few years too late. Did you still write the GUI yourself?
Then the big disappointment when Opera was sold. I can't believe how much great code ended up in the bin. I was stunned. Thank you for having the courage and ambition to start again with Vivaldi. I use it on all my devices and have already convinced several new fans. Yes, unfortunately not Presto but Chrome, but it wouldn't have worked any other way. Thanks also to your great team! Stay tuned! Stick to your principles. And if it becomes unavoidable, then Vivaldi is welcome to have its price.
Who here wouldn’t want to remove unnecessary apps, save resources, and space on their computers? 🙋🏼
So, whether you just bought yourself a shiny new computer or want to optimize your existing one—@xdadevelopers tells you how the Vivaldi browser (and 9 other apps) can make your experience on Windows even sweeter 👇

In this context, it would be a commendable achievement for the vivaldi team to continue to update the browser for Windows 7 and thus set an example against the forced scrapping of functioning hardware.
@jon Crypto mining - a prime example of human stupidity: short-term selfish advantage at the expense of long-term, most important goals. Highest appreciation to the Norwegian Government for this plan.

Hm...
