I remember a time when republicans railed against what they called, "activist judges". Of course, those were judges who ruled in favor of civil rights, racial and gender equality, voting rights, etc.
I remember that well. A lot of people just said they're going to move to Canada or France, or wherever, if Trump got in, but I knew you were serious, that it wasn't just venting anger and frustration. It was prescience.

#SCOTUS justices are basically the judicial version of monarchs. They answer to no one, like monarchs. They serve lifetime appointments, like monarchs. They can openly commit crimes, and there are no consequences - just like monarchs.
This is why every other democracy has term limits on their SC justices, knowing this is the danger of lifetime appointments...NO oversight, NO accountability.
