I heavily talk about the ongoing trans genocide as I'm building a platform to help change policy to protect LGBT people. I'm as liberal as they come, including pushing for trans women to be treated the same as cis women. Don't take the debate bait!

if you're not sure how to spot these types of trolls, here's a hint:

just like trans people, judaism is non-missionary

no need to try to fight them with an understanding of talmudic law and its coverage of gender. orthodox jews have no interest in policing those outside of their community

i wonder why people from a rabidly missionary religion, and usually a branch that's even more rabidly missionary can't impersonate groups uninterested in recruitment well

@deilann Yep. I found a few Dean Browning's online and even one who impersonated a MD offline in the name of transphobia. The offline one I knew because this "MD" couldn't answer basic medical questions correctly.

Did you know this? Apparently if you bought a copy of Super Mario Bros. 3 in the US, depending on when you bought it the "bros" in the logo is either aligned left on the label or right.

If the logo on your cart is aligned right, you can't get a world record under current strategies.

And until last year, nobody realized this was a problem. It was believed the versions were functionally identical.

In 100,000 years an alien ship enters our solar system. The earth has no remarkable intelligent life, but it's a beautiful biodiverse planet recovering from some bad extinctions. The aliens don't notice the traces left by humanity right away, this is just a survey trip and not much monumental remains.

But, they do pick up a signal, coming not from Earth, but from Mars. "How strange?" they think. Mars is obviously the inferior planet for life. Earth is incredible. But they go to investigate. 1/

@Alice Jack Dorsey backs BlueSky, so it'll have features reminiscent of Twitter. It also has its current problems where the protocol is designed in a way that isn't the most helpful to not exacerbating harassment.

    @flexghost Wouldn't that be a violation of the first amendment? One being on violating one's free speech and the other violating the separation of church and state as they push their religious beliefs on others who don't subscribe to their religion?
