:anAmigaBall: #CodeLog 231225 - So I managed to fix placeholder sprites on Amiga today and got the basic game functionality operational, yay! So then I tried to make a custom sprite, but it was invisible again. I guess I should study Amiga palettes and how bitplanes function.

When I’m done with Hogwarts I think I should play Kingdom Come Deliverance. 🤔 I tend to give extra points to a video game with European story setting, and some points on top of that if it’s Slavic in origin. Negative points for American and Japanese setting. Those are way over-represented.

Claiming that a video game is bad because a wrong engine was used is like claiming that a movie is crap because a wrong brand of camera was used for shooting scenes. Especially when it comes from social media fingers who haven't wrote a single line of code in their entire life.

After today's #storm in Zagreb I realize #Twitter is irreplaceable for emergency information exchange in my region. There is literally nothing of value on #Fediverse today, or the search thing doesn't work. I need to see what have other parts of my city experienced.

This is a legit scenario when mother nature is having a bad day and I need as much information as I can get. Fediverse did not provide that today.

There is a rumor that Valve is working on a similar device such as Meta Quest, but with #SteamDeck OS on it. I am not holding my breath, but I kind of wish it would be true. The Quest doesn't work on #Linux at all.
