You can add people’s public mastodon feeds as RSS feeds to an RSS reader (like, say Net News Wire on iOS/iPad/Mac)

I had someone I know go off on one about “men wearing dresses” and “I wonder what his pronouns are!” derisively about someone else.

“I don’t have a problem with it but” kinda triggered me to be honest. I shared my own opinions.

Anyway, for the avoidance of doubt here: fuck any of that sort of noise and casual bigotry. “Real men” support folks being their authentic selves.

If Apple are doing a deal with OpenAI, and we end up with ChatGPT in the OS in a way I can’t switch off, I’m going to have some big personal tech decisions to make, I guess.

I setup PenPot (https://penpot.app/) on my home server yesterday and I really like it.

It’s a little buggy, but, I love the fact it’s an open clone of Figma. I fully expect Figma to enshittify in the next couple of years.

I’m also quite keen for the fact I can set up webhooks etc quite easily. I suspect I could build a pipeline of it refreshing my screenshots for me with the output of UI tests from CI.

Overkill right now, but I like the option for the future!
