@collectifission Yes, I saw this one, good one! 😆
(I always try to search other webcomic strips within the theme my scenario is, so I can avoid to accidentally reinvent the wheel...)
@collectifission@davidrevoy For most of the last two centuries, this was the age at which women would typically marry. Especially for royalty and nobility.
@davidrevoy This is so sad. In addition to his important contributions to P&C. Craig was was always positive and shared a lot to us. Unfortunately all his energy wasn't enought to fight this f***** cancer.
We'll miss you @craigmaloney
I remember his online presence, but I did not know the extent of his impact on pepper & carrot.
I wish you and all who have also interacted with him in the past to find the strength to allow themselves to grieve — and find their way back afterwards.
I'm honestly happy that the project is evolving and changing. I'm actually quite fascinated by the world you've created. Honestly whatever project you take on, I will still support you cuz you're an inspiration to the Artists in Open Source Community.
@odysseywestra Thank you so much for your words, and also for supporting my work since the start of Pepper&Carrot, 10 years ago. 10 years soon! I can't believe it myself.
Right now it looks my brain wants to start Mini Fantasy Theater and ending Pepper&Carrot simultaneously. I jump on one when I block on the other, and ideas rejected for one feed the other. An interesting period of overlap. 😆
@lamecarlate That's right, Geuloush is a very recent one, you can read here when we adopted him and his story https://framapiaf.org/@davidrevoy/111176532486385409 , but I should transform that in a proper blog post as I did for Miolek to not forget about those details later 😅
It's pronunced Gh , as 'Gueuler' in french (to yell). He was yelling really loud the first week we met him, poor hungry abandoned thing. We call him now Vampirek, or Petit-Pirek, ou Chouquette, things that match better his temper now we know him.
Be careful: fake emails are circulating in the name of Free/Libre and Open Source projects. Below, an email received by @kdenlive that the official team does not recognize. Be vigilant, these are no doubt scams.

Dang it, I was really curious what they were up to and planned to spin up a VM to analyze it. Oh well, maybe someone else is already working on it.
A recent photo of my sketchbook, still training with ballpoint pen directly, a cruel training. But I am beginning to get a better ability to imagine perspective grids without tracing them, and I can even begin to plan full-page compositions. It takes a while to build these new skills, but they are worth it.
@feacrow Yes. It solves the same type of task in the workflow, but in a very different way and interface. This way ( fill tool + gap closing ) is a bit more familiar coming from other software.
Stop sending me your novels or texts written by an AI.
I definitely don't want to read or be exposed to AI output. I don't want to AI-poison my imagination with the most statistical tropes, and a big mix of story data that might be plagiarism from I don't know what source. Furthermore, I think that feeding my imagination with human-made imaginary is a better diet to train my own ideas.
(I thought it was obvious, but apparently it's not. I'm writing this to pin to my profile.)
