@Teppichbrand @rosschie just like radium. A technology those who don’t understand technology thinks is ready but isn’t. So yes let’s just let these people use us as Guinea pigs. People will die. Do you find people dying to let Elon get a few more bucks an ok thing? Personally as someone who has built technology my whole life I’d like it fully baked before it’s put around peoples children.

IMO, streaming services should be banned from ending a series with a cliffhanger. We finally got around to watching Severance, two years after it first aired, and it ends with a bloody cliffhanger!

Very annoying, after you put in all that time – you feel like you've been cheated. There's still months to the second season release, and who's to say that won't also end with a cliffhanger? And there's always a danger of a cliffhanger show getting cancelled without a conclusion.

Rather than making me keen to continue, it's more likely to make me drop the series (which I did with Umbrella Academy and The Great after their first seasons ended with cliffhangers). Stop treating my time as unimportant, TV creators.

@timrichards ungh yep. And this case was the first I came across where there was a bunch of AI generated nonsense content that claimed s3 was booked and coming soon when in fact it was cancelled after the first. Thought we’d gone mad for months.

My main use of the deadbird site at this point is to chide journalists for remaining there as supporters of an extremists who hates journalism.

In brief, they have found so far:

~ 92% of Atlassians say our distributed work policy allows them to do their best work.
~ Representation of women has doubled in certain geographies

Been a fan of for a v long time. They’ve gone way too hard on this ai mess. Using an enterprise clients support feature it now seems apparent that when you ask for support from a human and not ai, they just ask the q of ai.

No nuance, very poor quality results (this is software there are many way but not all SHOULD be used, autopilot couldn’t work out this distinction and suggests clickops approaches. 🙄

It’s time to launch the new luddites isn’t it?
