Bluesky anunciando funções, quando tiver vai quase ter tudo que já tem no mastodon, e estou bem empolgado com esses dois.

Eu queria um app pra integrar esses dois pra não deixar algum de lado. Só vou saber quando se equiparar as funções de ambos pois os dois tem seus prós e contras.

A comunidade vai fazer diferença também. Naquela que eu me sentir melhor vai ser onde vou ficar.

What’s a good mail app for #Linux #Desktop nowadays that allows searching / browsing of hundreds of attachments stored as plain files ? I plan to sync via IMAP about 20 years of mailboxes (around 20 GB total).

I already use mbsync + aerc to backup this on a Pi but I want a second copy on another machine with a GUI.

Alguns tempos atrás conversei com um carioca que planejava se mudar para Portugal para uma vida melhor. Eu disse que imigração não era tão fácil assim e não era para idealizar. Tinha risco de sofrer racismo e ser explorado. Que podia ser bom pros filhos a longo prazo mas pra ele não forçosamente.

Hoje falei com um familiar dele que me disse que lá ele trabalha como ajudante em vez do seu cargo normal e não tá tão feliz com a mudança.

Sempre pensem bem antes de idealizar e largar tudo.

LaTeX friends!

I’m looking for a modern and native (not electron) mac OS text editor that might take the place of textmate in my latex workflow.

I'm hoping to find something with existing bundles / scripts / extensions comparable to textmate’s LaTeX bundle. The great "Watch Document" feature works so much better than “latexmk -pvc”.

Any recs? I feel like the pickings are slim. When a nice native editor has any LaTeX support it's usually just syntax highlighting and a basic build script.
