I run a K-Pop blog at G-Nitro.com, and I co-host an Anime podcast called Otaku in Review (Find us on most Podcast platforms) with my friends Scott and Shannon

As I prep to leave for D.C. soon to attend Otakon this weekend, just a heads up.

My weekly K-Pop playlist, and normal posts about classic K-Pop episodes and compilations dropping on YouTube will be out next week.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. While I will be posting stuff from D.C and Otakon, I probably won't be the best at replying the next 4 days.

I finally made the decision. I canceled Spotify. I liked the Spotify user experience, , but its gotten worse with recent UI updates.

I am sticking with YouTube premium even with the price hike, because I spend so much time watching videos there. So I'll use YouTube Music as I need to.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time listening to my digital music collection with PlexAmp, or enjoying physical media.

I'm not sure if I can update playlist with Spotify Free, so if not, my Top 100s will not be compiled there anymore. I will be working on getting them on to YT Music. ^^

Laid-Back Camp Season 2 finished. Just as super cute and comfy as the first season. 4.5/5! Gonna have to check out the movie soon.

I'll post my next poll in which the fediverse decides my anime fate sometime this week.

Productive morning. Laundry going, got my November movie night voting up on my Discord. Made some changes to how voting works, so looking forward to seeing how it goes and if people prefer it.

So CM Punk finally got let go from AEW. A year too late imo. I was excited when he first joined. But in the long term, along with TK taking away power of the EVPs, I really just fell out of love with AEW's product.

CM Punk was a cancer, and TK let the joshis pretty much disappear from TV. Shida's 2nd title reign was nothing more than a reason to not have Storm drop it to Saraya.

I doubt I go back to watching AEW considering I'm enjoying TJPW and Stardom instead, but with Punk gone, its a much better chance.

Did another thrift store visit today. Grabbed 49 CDs for $1 each. It's such a great time to grab physical media before people realize streaming platforms aren't the answer.

All of Namie Amuro's music has been scrubbed globally online. Gone from YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, etc.

No word on if this is on Amuro's side or AVEX. But Amuro hasn't been seen or heard from in over 5 years.

If you have her CDs, rip them now for backup. If you don't... well however you decide to acquire her music going forward, this is a judgement free zone.

Went to a rum festival to meet up with my dad and stepmom. They had something else going on first, so I ended up there early without them.. Well I quickly found myself standing around just processing everything, and since I was around nothing but strangers... it kicked off something fierce.

Next thing you know I'm in the car heading home in flight mode. My stepmom was asking why I had the attack, but hasn't responded since I gave my answer.

So now I'm having anxiety awaiting her giving some judgment instead of understanding at some point.

Update Stepmom and I talked after posting this. She was understanding❤️

Delicious In Dungeon Episode 1 Impressions

Loving this. Great production, the food discussion and preparation are interesting, and somehow making me hungry

I understand the complaints about their lack of urgency, but I see it as just a plot point to show off eating monsters along the journey to save the sister.

Definitely watching this one this season.

Honestly, I've kind of fallen out of enjoying Delicious in Dungeon... I was here for the food and some adventure. But its theme has gone a different route than I'm interested in.

I already almost bailed after they took their time to rescue Falin and what that resulted in for her... But as it goes deeper down that route... I'm just going to stall it.

Maybe I finish at a later date, but as for now... I'm just so uninterested.

Train to the End of the World Episode 1

Wth was that setup? 😂 This show got super weird and interesting fast. Cute girls doing cute things in a tripped out Japan.

Trying not to be too specific to not spoil what happens in the beginning of the show. I'm hoping this holds up, cuz it's really intriguing.

Finished Reborn as a Vending Machine. Pretty sure it went past where the light novels ended at.

Such a fun time, and looking forward to a second season. Also hoping this revives the light novel series.

The 2023 version of Takeshi's Castle is a mix of old school and Wipeout. Its also very lenient in letting people pass if they all fail on the first obstacle 🤣. It's super hilarious though. 2 episodes in and I'm loving it

Drinking a Bruery Bananas - Rum Barrel-aged imperial stout with graham crackers, bananas, brown sugar, milk sugar, and Tahitian vanilla beans - 13.3%

Rum hits up front, but the beer just becomes super sweet. It's still tasty, just not something I need in a 750mL bottle
