sorry, my previous post was confusing for ppl who aren’t super up to date on bikes. I didn’t have to spend $1k to fix my bike today, I just had to charge a battery for an hour before I went on my ride. Electronic shifting costs more up front & u gotta remember to charge every few months but overall it’s way more reliable & has less maintenance than mechanical shifting.

CDC may be changing it's 5-day isolation guidelines in favor of a "symptom-based" one like CA & OR; many infectious disease experts are encouraging this ("Public health recommendations have to be practical").

Public health used to be about eliminating disease (smallpox, polio). Now it's about expediency.
