Erdreisten sich gar regeln aufzustellen, wie die community damit am besten umgehen sollte..... Andere heulen das sie das überhaupt alles nicht wollen.

Es ist so dermaßen zum kotzen.

Now that quote posts are coming (confirmed by Renaud https://oisaur.com/@renchap/112299860209222424 ), I think it important that we have agreed upon acceptable usage.

Quote posts can be an amazing tool – there's a good reason they're so requested – but they also have the potential to add massive amounts of toxicity.

Ich hab mir brauchbare ersatzhardware für mein primäres keyboard sichern können!

Warum das ein solches YAY is? Hajo......

Ich nutze ein Cherry CyMotion Master Linux.. Das sieht dann so aus:

Eines der features dieses keyboards ist, das die tastenkappen rund 20% größer als normale tastenkappen sind...

Das is superbequem zum tippen und sorgt für viel handbewegung bei ebendem...... und sieht ausserdem super psychedelisch aus..... was mir irgendwie ausnahmslos jede/r bestätigte der sich an dieses keyboard wagte...

Leider gabs diese serie an keyboards (CyMotion Master XPress und Master Linux) nur eine begrenzte zeit....... Also ist das inzwischen wirklich seltene hardware....

Nu hab ich aber auf epay ein cymotion master xpress aufgetan welches nur minimal genutzt wurde - für die makro keys offenbar.

OMFG YAY! Ein komplett sauberes gehäuse und ein sauberer tastensatz ..... + elektronik und kram...

Shit .... ich kann dann mein aktuelles keyboard endlich einmal sinnvoll aufarbeiten und die Tux logos und tasten mitnehmen..

I love it. ;)

    Wissing will Fahrverbote, aber kein Tempolimit (ja, ist eine durchschaubare Strategie). Aber gibt es da nicht ein (einklagbares) Prinzip der Verhältnismäßigkeit, also die Pflicht, erstmal weniger starke Eingriffe durchzuführen (Tempolimit), bevor härtere Beschränkungen kommen (Fahrverbote)? Was sagen die Rechts-Nerds? Zur Rettung des Klimas wird am Ende wahrscheinlich beides nötig sein.

    I'm gonna be that guy and point out that when people say "the Fediverse" what they probably more specifically mean is "what's implemented by Mastodon, a social network built on top of ActivityPub" and that for certain conversations, this matters.

    I'm sorry but i have to call that BS. The core problem isn't that there is no traffic outside the mastodon platform. The main problem is, that you mastodontists don't get to see that by default and by design.

    That's why i included the i use, , explicitly in my fediverse name. Otherwise you wouldn't know.

    Besides that, there is a lot of communication happening right outside the ActivityPub Realm, namely in DFRN, Diaspora* and Zot federations.

    It is mastodon who adopted this so poorly, that usually even rich text and formatting, like inline images within posts, are cropped down to the "mastodon default view". Totally crippling some content on the way.

    And while we're talkin about content, mastodon and the mentioned other federations don't even make the majority of mastodon alternatives and alternative services..

    There is , , , , , , , (!)), , , , , , .. just to name some few.

    Again, usually you only get to see mastodon compatible content.... Which means, things like groups don't work.

    Instead of a nice video presentation like on peertube, you just get a link most of the time.

    And so on...

    There is even a weirdo mastodon user accounts bot around, which falsely counts ALL known accounts as mastodon users, which is totally bonkers.

    If you would like some real stats, here are 2 bots providing a more neutral painted statistic:

    and

    @fediverse with mastodont.cat/@fediverse/11189…

    And i will not deny, that sadly most traffic is happening between mastodon servers lately..

    But saying that other traffic is negligible .. is just plain BS.

    Ok. I'm convinced. Devs don't have any other words in their vocabulary besides "bug fixes and improvements".

    When I have an issue with an app and think to report a bug, I'll just simply start speaking their language by entering the word "bug" into the extra details section before offering advice on how to fix it with "fixes and improvements".

    That should give them all the details theyd need to fix my issues.🤣

    @BeAware Yeah actually, even if it's a simpe "UX Bug"... converting that into the appropiate bug and fix language will go lots of miles towards the goal. ;)

    Ich weiss grad nicht und ich habs nicht weiter nachgeschaut ob es im schon angekommen ist.. Aber der Youtube Channel "Einsatz-Report24" hat offenbar vereinzelte videoaufnahmen vom unfallort an dem Andreas Mandalka alias @natenom verstarb. Nein es sind keine bilder vom unfall selbst dabei(!).

    Ich habe das gefühl, in gedenken an ihn, diesen content auch hier teilen zu müssen bzw zu wollen.

    Er darf nicht vergessen werden, gerade wegen seines tragischen todes!
