Well it's meant to be sunny all day, and it's blowing a hooligan.
Sitting here looking out the window I'm seeing sheets and shirts whipping up and around, testing the grip of old pegs. I could go out and pull back down all the garments that have twisted up and over, but there's no point. Billy Wind is in town and he's not leaving any time soon.

My #Today

In town this afternoon and bumped into the one and only Roland Bateman (local celebrity, give him a Google). Haven't spoken to him in a long time. Looking well, for 71 - he proudly told me. The conversation moved on to Christmas. He said "all I want is a Mars Bar, and a torch". Lump in my throat thinking back.
This is what this season is all about. Not corporate mass consumption. Real people, genuine warm people like Roland.

Here's hoping Santa comes for him.
